Responsibility details are not available.
This is a stand-alone accessory, not a model kit. Firma49 is a Czech brand making small accessories for modelers, figures and dioramas by SLA 3D printing. This piece represents the French MAT 49 submachine gun in 1:72 scale with the magazine in the normal (firing) position. It is the smallest and most fragile of the three scales made, and even at this size the printing delivers detail that plastic cannot manage in a small scale.
The MAT 49 is a French 9 mm submachine gun produced from 1949 by the Manufacture d'Armes de Tulle. Its characteristic feature is the folding magazine, which could be swung forward under the barrel to make the weapon smaller for transport. It served with the French army for decades and was used among other places in Indochina and Algeria. Here the weapon is in the firing position with the magazine vertical.
The small scale calls for the greatest care, as the part is very small and fragile. Cut it from the print supports with a sharp knife, clean it up gently with respiratory protection and glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint it with a fine brush or an airbrush once a primer has been applied.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled, as a 3D-printed resin part. Glue, paints and the figure are not included in the package.
