The Revell Model Set 1:72 Bf109G-10 and Spitfire Mk.V is a starter set of two plastic kits of the famous opponents of the Second World War, including paints, a brush and glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Model Set starter set from the manufacturer Revell contains two injection-molded plastic kits in 1:72, the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 fighter and the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V. The package is conceived as a complete start to building: besides both models and the decals it also contains a selection of water-thinnable acrylic paints (Aqua Color), a brush and glue. It makes an ideal gift and an ideal way into modeling.
The Bf 109 and the Spitfire were among the most significant fighters of the Second World War and they met each other over Europe from the Battle of Britain right to the end of the war. The Bf 109G-10 was one of the late, high-performance versions of the German fighter, while the Spitfire Mk.V was the mass-deployed, versatile variant of the British machine. The set therefore puts a pair of legendary rivals up against each other.
The acrylic paints included are thinned with water. Dry-fit the parts first, use cement for plastic, and a smooth glossy surface will help before you apply the decals. Small parts and the canopy frames are easier to paint before assembly. A starter set is forgiving of mistakes and therefore rewarding even for beginners.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The set contains paints, a brush and glue; further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
