Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat variant of the Soko Orao attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from Litaki. The NJ-22 designation matches the two-seat version derived from the single-seat J-22 Orao. The box contains plastic sprues with engraved detail, photo-etched parts and decals; it also offers alternative armament and stores parts. The exact number of parts is not stated here.
The Orao was a joint attack and reconnaissance aircraft developed by Yugoslavia and Romania during the Cold War as an example of cooperation between two Eastern Bloc states. The single-seat J-22 version was used to attack ground targets, while the two-seat NJ-22 also served for training and special tasks. The machine carried its armament on stores under the fuselage and wings and belonged to the light attack aircraft category of its day.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Finish the cockpits before you close the fuselage and mask the glazing, painting it last. Apply a primer; attack aircraft often wear concealing camouflage schemes in green and brown tones. A gentle wash brings out the engraved panels, and the underwing armament goes on at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
