A resin detail set of replacement wheels in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more cleanly cast parts with a more faithful tire tread and hub detail.
The landing gear of the supersonic Super Sabre is clearly visible on a model, and resin wheels give it a more realistic look than the standard plastic. The castings are usually made with the load on the tires suggested, so the aircraft looks as if it really rested its full weight on the apron. The set is intended for F-100D models and for the two-seat F-100F.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently (protect your airways). They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting and spray the tires and the hubs separately.
The set contains only the resin wheel parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package.
