Reskit 1:72 OFAB-100-120 bombs (8 pcs) is a 3D-printed resin set of underwing munitions — eight Soviet high-explosive fragmentation aerial bombs of roughly 100 kg. It is not an aircraft model but an armament accessory for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Reskit contains eight Soviet OFAB-100-120 aerial bombs made by 3D printing in resin. It is not an aircraft kit but an underwing armament accessory in 1:72 scale. The higher number of pieces in the box is deliberate: on real aircraft the smaller bombs were carried several to a pylon, so eight pieces will fill out even a generous combat load. The parts are unpainted and come on print supports.
The OFAB-100-120 is a Soviet high-explosive fragmentation aerial bomb of roughly 100 kg — intended against personnel, lightly protected vehicles and unhardened targets, where the combination of fragmentation and blast effect tells. It is among the most common munitions of the Soviet and Russian air forces and is still in use today. According to the manufacturer the bombs suit aircraft of the Su-7, Su-17/22, Su-24, Su-25, Su-27 and Su-30 families and the MiG-21 and MiG-27; they therefore find use across Eastern Bloc tactical aircraft.
For advanced modelers of Soviet and Russian aircraft in 1:72 scale who want more faithful and sharper munitions than the plastic in the box offers. Eight pieces are enough for a full load on one aircraft and for completing a diorama — the bombs look good stacked on a trolley or a pallet beside the machine too.
The set is supplied as a resin accessory — unpainted, without paints or glue. It is not a standalone aircraft model. Ventilate and protect your airways and eyes when cutting and sanding resin. Small parts do not belong in the hands of small children.
