Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Pattern 1920 Mk.II armored car in 1:72 scale from Roden. The model depicts the updated version with wide desert tires and a reworked front of the hull. The vehicle was based on the proven chassis of the Rolls-Royce luxury car. Check the exact contents of the package and the decal schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Pattern 1920 armored car followed on from the famous British Rolls-Royce armored cars of the First World War. In the early 1920s the real vehicle went through an update: it received a new turret, wider wheels and, in a later modification, desert tires and a reworked nose for better driver visibility. The cars served with the Royal Air Force in colonial garrisons in the Middle East, above all in Iraq and the Egyptian Western Desert.
In the small 1:72 scale the parts are tiny, so cut them off carefully and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Finish and paint the chassis and the hull in logical subassemblies. Spray the desert scheme with an airbrush in sand and khaki shades; after the gloss clear coat and the decals, bring out the details with a wash and add pronounced dust pigments to the wheels and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
