Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains twelve riders in four poses and horses in two poses. The figures are unpainted and the riders have to be seated in the saddle. The medium cavalry complements the Persian heavy and light cavalry of the same range, so a whole mounted wing of an Achaemenid army can be put together from them.
In the Persian army the medium cavalry formed the transition between armored riders and light horse archers. The riders wore partial armor, fought with javelin and bow and used their mobility for outflanking and for disrupting the enemy line. For most of the empire's existence the Persian cavalry was the strongest element of the army, and Alexander's Macedonians treated it as the main threat that had to be met at the very start of a battle.
Wash the plastic in lukewarm soapy water, dry it and spray it with a flexible primer. Try the rider in the saddle dry and then fix him with cyanoacrylate glue. Persian dress will take rich color, and striped trousers and colored jackets are in place for this set. Unify the horses into two or three muted shades; the variety then stays on the riders and the formation does not look restless.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
