An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Chinese light tank in 1:72 scale from the Meng label. Thanks to current mold technology the set has a lower part count and builds easily, yet it keeps faithful shapes and detail. The tracks use the link and length system (longer runs supplemented by individual links).
The ZTQ15 (Type 15) is a modern Chinese light tank that entered service in 2018. It is designed for high mobility in mountainous and broken terrain, where heavy tanks struggle to go, and it carries a fully stabilized 105 mm gun. It combines low weight with modern protection and fire control systems.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull and fit the turret. Set the glued joints with thin cement for plastic. After the base color, bring the surface to life with a wash into the recesses and dry brushing on the edges; pigments will add dust and mud to the lower areas and the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
