Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the MARS Model brand. The package holds forty-eight figures in twelve poses, spread over four identical sprues. The figures are unpainted. The set rounds off the range of Polish troops of the Thirty Years War period, in which the manufacturer offers hussars, infantry and artillery as well, so a whole Polish army can be put together from them.
A Polish cavalry company of the seventeenth-century wars was not divided into knights in full armor alone. Every noble warrior had a retinue of paholki, that is of less wealthy men who served more lightly armed and carried out tasks from scouting to plundering. They made up the numerical majority of the company, while the heavy hussars were only its tip.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The moldings have coarser detail in places, mainly around the weapons, so allow time for cleaning up and use a sharp scalpel. Paint the clothing in varied colors, because this layer of the army had no uniform kit. Leave the leather and canvas parts in natural tones and save the color for the sashes and the caps.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
