A resin detail accessory from the Czech manufacturer CMK for a model of the American PT-109 torpedo boat in 1:72 scale. The set contains four newly designed, finely detailed rear doors (breeches) of the torpedo tubes, which replace the simplified plastic version of the base kit. The masters are designed in 3D.
PT-109 was an 80-foot Elco type patrol torpedo boat commanded in the Second World War by John F. Kennedy. The boat carried four torpedo tubes, whose breeches this set renders faithfully.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. A restrained wash in the recesses helps to accent the breech mechanism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
