An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank Pz.Kpfw.VI Tiger I (Ausf.E) in 1:72 scale from the Fast Assembly line by Italeri. The set is intended for a quick build with a lower part count and the box usually holds two models, which players and collectors alike will appreciate. The decals allow several marking options.
The Tiger I was one of the best-known tanks of the Second World War. Armed with a mighty 88 mm gun and protected by thick armor, it became a symbol of the German armored forces from 1942. Despite its high combat value it was demanding to build and to maintain and it was produced in relatively small numbers. It was committed on all the main fronts, where thanks to its armor and range it often dominated the fighting at long distances, and it acquired an almost legendary reputation.
Cut the parts off and glue them with thin cement for plastic; beginners too will appreciate the simpler breakdown. Paint the running gear before closing the hull, and only then add the wheels and the tracks. Complement the Dunkelgelb base with a camouflage pattern, pick out the panels and rivets with a wash, and create mud and dust effects on the running gear with pigments; bring the sharp edges and the walking surfaces to life with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
