A set of four 3D-printed resin R-27 missiles in the R and T variants, 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for external armament with a faithful shape of the body, the seeker and the control surfaces, which replaces the simplified plastic missiles.
The R-27 (NATO reporting name AA-10 Alamo) is a Soviet and Russian medium-range missile. The R-27R version has semi-active radar guidance, the R-27T infrared. They are carried by the MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters. It is recognizable by the prominent butterfly control surfaces in the middle of the body.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut them off the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The body tends to be light gray with colored bands; we recommend an airbrush and fine masking.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
