A 1:72 pilot of the Rafale C at the access ladder, type 1 brings a figure in current flight gear. It will complete the scene around a finished model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure captures an airman at the moment he is about to climb up to the cockpit, and is aimed at models of the single-seat Rafale in the C version. The manufacturer lists it as the first type of pose, so it can be combined with further variants from the same offer to build a small group by a machine.
The Rafale is a multirole combat aircraft of French design with a delta layout and canards, which manages air combat as well as strikes on ground targets and reconnaissance. The version marked with the letter C is the single-seat land-based variant for the air force, while the carrier form carries a different letter. That is worth watching during a build, because the two versions are not entirely alike in shape.
Current flight gear is restrained in color, and that makes the details stand out all the more. Treat the helmet with its visor last with a gloss varnish; the contrast with flat fabric gives the figure conviction. Bring out the fabric of the coverall with a dry brush in a lighter tone and let the paint catch only lightly on the edges of the folds. Set the gloves and the boots apart by at least half a tone, otherwise the whole figure will merge into one uniform patch.
You are adding a figure to a display case; the aircraft you build from your own box.
