Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic set of figures to 1:72 scale. The package contains 40 figures in twelve different poses, and the height of a figure comes to roughly 24 mm. The set captures the infantry of the Roman republic of the period from the 3rd to the 1st century BC. The maker is Zvezda.
The infantry was the backbone of the Roman army, and in the republican period it formed the core of the legions, drawn up in maniples. The soldiers carried a short sword, a shield and javelins, and thanks to their training and organization they ranked among the most effective fighting forces of their day.
Clean the flash off the parts; some poses call for a little gluing. For painting, a base of primer followed by shading with acrylics works well; the metal parts (helmets, swords) are finished with metallic paints, and a wash into the recesses will bring out the detail of the armor.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
