Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light Polish touring and liaison aircraft RWD-13 in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS Models. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set of plastic parts for gluing and painting; the decal sheet allows the aircraft to be finished in civil registration markings. The exact contents of the package depend on the particular edition.
The RWD-13 was a two to three seat high-wing aircraft of mixed construction, created in the Polish RWD workshops as a more accessible variant of its successful predecessors. The prototype flew in the middle of the 1930s and power came from an air-cooled inline engine of around 130 horsepower. The machine proved itself in flying clubs and in ambulance and liaison service, and some of the aircraft served outside Poland after 1939.
In the small scales thin cement for plastic and careful cleanup of the joints pay off. Finish the cockpit and the glazing before closing up the fuselage, and use a primer and airbrush spraying for smooth covering coats. A gloss coat under the decals will keep air bubbles from drying in under the markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
