The S-24 was a heavy unguided rocket intended for ground targets — fortifications, vehicles, and area targets. It was fired from simple APU-68 launchers, each carrying a single rocket, so a typical aircraft carried several on different hardpoints. Thanks to its large warhead, the S-24 was among the most effective unguided weapons of its time and remained in service with the Soviet and allied air forces for decades, including combat use in Afghanistan.
First wash the parts with lukewarm water and dish soap to remove residual release agent or print resin. Cut the 3D-printing supports off with a sharp cutter or fine saw, sand the surface, and glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue) — ordinary plastic cement does not hold on resin. When sanding, work with respiratory protection, ideally wet, and use a primer before painting.
