Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand MARS Model. The package contains forty figures in ten poses. The figures are unpainted and come on sprues. With this set the manufacturer extends its line devoted to the Sea Peoples, so it can be combined with other units of the same period to build a larger scene from the end of the Bronze Age.
Sea Peoples is the collective name for the groups that attacked the eastern Mediterranean at the turn of the thirteenth and twelfth centuries BC. Egyptian sources describe their onslaught in the reign of Ramesses III and depict them in helmets with a fan of feathers and in horned helmets. Their arrival is linked with the fall of the Hittite Empire and the end of a number of cities on the Syrian and Levantine coast.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. Treat the metal parts in a bronze shade, not a steel one; the Bronze Age did not yet know iron in common use. Keep the clothing in natural tones, and white and beige with a colored border is a believable choice. The fans of feathers and the horned helmets are the most striking element, and it pays to set them apart with a lighter shade.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
