Plastic model kit of the Siebel Si 204 A in 1:72 scale from Smer. A German twin-engine transport and training aircraft of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Czech maker Smer captures the German twin-engine Siebel Si 204 in the A version in 1:72 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. In the box you will find the plastic parts, the clear glazing parts and a decal sheet with several marking options.
The Siebel Si 204 was a small all-metal twin-engine aircraft developed at the end of the 1930s, originally as a civil transport. The A version kept the conventional cockpit with a separate pilot's windscreen and served as a light transport and liaison aircraft as well as a trainer for aircrew. It was built in large numbers during the war, among other places in what was then the Protectorate.
This is a classic older-style kit, so it pays to clean up the parting-line flash and dry-fit the parts first. Give the glazed cockpit attention: masking the frames and a clean coat of varnish will lift the final impression noticeably. Thin cement for plastic works well, along with a little filler at the wing joints and a gloss coat before the decals. The twin-engine layout rewards careful seating of the engine nacelles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
