An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-10M heavy tank in 1:72 scale from the maker Trumpeter. The smaller scale and the not very high number of parts make the set a pleasant and uncomplicated build, after which a compact model for a display case or a Cold War diorama comes out.
The T-10 was a Soviet heavy tank of the Cold War period and the last development branch of the line of heavy machines carrying on from the KV and IS tanks. The T-10M version from the end of the 1950s was given a longer gun with a five-baffle muzzle brake, more capable machine guns, night vision devices and protection against weapons of mass destruction. It was one of the last classic Soviet heavy tanks.
Glue the plastic with a thin modeling cement and clean the small parts up carefully. Even a small model stands out with a base, a uniform green camouflage laid down with an airbrush and a restrained patina from a wash and pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
