The plastic kit Trumpeter Soviet T-28 tank (welded turret) in 1:72 scale — a Soviet multi-turret medium tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-28 medium tank from Trumpeter in 1:72 scale, in the version with the welded main turret. Thanks to slide-molding the model has one-piece tracks and running gear, which makes the build easier and quicker. The set contains decals for several marking options and suits less experienced builders in small scales as well.
The T-28 was one of the first Soviet medium tanks, produced from the early 1930s. It was a multi-turret machine — the main turret with its gun was supplemented by smaller machine-gun turrets. It was intended to break through fortified defensive lines and to support infantry directly. Among other things it was deployed in the Winter War with Finland and in the opening battles of the Second World War.
The one-piece tracks and running gear simplify the build — even so, paint them before you close up the hull. In a small scale choose fine weathering: thin washes into the recesses and light dust effects, so that the small details are not swamped. Liven up the typical Soviet green base with restrained edge highlighting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
