Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank in 1:72 scale from the Fast Assembly line by Italeri. The set comes from new molds, it is intended for a quick build with a lower part count and the box usually holds two models. The decals allow several variants to be finished.
The T-34/85 was the ultimate wartime version of the legendary Soviet T-34 medium tank. Compared with the older T-34/76 it received a larger three-man turret and a powerful 85 mm gun, which improved its ability to fight the German Panther and Tiger tanks. The new turret also improved the work of the crew, because it added room for a dedicated commander with a vision cupola. It was built in enormous numbers from 1944 and became the backbone of the Soviet armored forces in the closing stage of the war and afterwards; it remained in service with many armies for decades more.
Cut the parts off and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Paint the running gear before closing the hull, and only then add the road wheels and the tracks. Spray the base in Soviet green and pick out the panels and the coarse cast texture of the turret with a wash. Create mud and dust effects on the running gear and the sides with pigments and bring the edges to life with a dry brush; the walking surfaces and the fuel tanks can be given a light rub of wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
