Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unglued plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The package contains approximately 18 riders on horseback in several poses, among them the accompanying figures of a standard bearer, a commander and a musician. The figures are intended to be assembled and painted.
The set represents Ottoman cavalry of the 17th century, when the Ottoman empire waged wars against Poland, Persia, Venice and Hungary. The core of the cavalry were the sipahis, riders tied to the fief system, supplemented by other mounted detachments. They were armed with sabers, lances, bows and cavalry weapons and often wore mail armor and colorful dress.
Separate the parts from the sprue and join the riders to the horses. Use cement for plastic or super glue. Apply a base coat, paint with a brush or an airbrush and bring out the metal parts of the armor with a metallic finish and a wash. Strong colors of dress are typical of the subject.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
