CMK 1:72 U-IX submarine crew returning from a cruise, part I (3 figures) is a resin set of German submariners.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds three resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. They show crew members of a German Type IX submarine returning from a combat cruise. The figures are intended for more experienced modelers and bring the deck of a submarine model or a harbor diorama to life.
German Type IX submarines were large ocean-going boats intended for operations in distant theaters. After a long cruise the crew returned to port, where men in worn work clothing stood on the conning tower. The figures capture that scene with period gear and typical stances.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a base (primer) and paint with acrylic or enamel paints; washes and a dry brush bring the worn clothing and the full beards to life. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
