1:72 U-VII crew at rest part I (3 fig.) is a set of three resin figures of a resting Type VII submarine crew in 1:72 scale, the first of two connected parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds three unglued and unpainted resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It is the first of two connected parts portraying the crew of a German Type VII submarine in relaxed, restful poses. The figures bring the deck and the surroundings of a submarine model to life.
Type VII submarines formed the backbone of the German submarine fleet in World War II. Between watches the crew spent time on the deck and around it; restful scenes give a diorama scale and a human dimension. CMK is a recognized maker of Kriegsmarine crew figures in this scale.
Before gluing, wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin castings, carefully cut away the sprue gates and casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a base (primer) before painting; set the work and naval gear apart with fine shading.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
