US M113 in Vietnam No. 3. M577 Command Post Carrier is a set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for models of the M577 command carrier from the Vietnam War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set brings classic waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for models of the American command and signals vehicle M577 deployed during the Vietnam War. The M577 is the raised command version of the M113 tracked carrier, so the decals are intended for models of this family of vehicles. The sheet offers tactical markings, national insignia and lettering for several specific machines.
The M577 served as a mobile command post for mechanized and artillery units. The taller hull created room for maps, radio sets and staff work; the vehicle was a common part of American armored and mechanized formations in Southeast Asia. It is recognizable by the raised rear and the extensive signals equipment.
Before applying, dip the decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds, let it soften and slide it off the backing paper onto a glossy surface prepared beforehand with varnish. For perfect adhesion on rivets and detail use a decal softener; once dry, overcoat with a matte or semi-gloss clear varnish. The exact camouflage shades and the recommended placement are given in the enclosed instructions.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The vehicle model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
