A 3D-printed resin set in 1:72 scale faithfully reproducing the movable front gun turret USPU-24 with the four-barrel YakB-12.7 mm machine gun as carried by the Mil Mi-24V attack helicopter. It is not a helicopter model but a detailed armament accessory replacing the simpler plastic part from the box.
The front rotating turret with its rapid-fire machine gun is a striking recognition feature of the nose of the Mi-24V. The 3D print captures the fine detail of the barrels and of the turret mechanism, which are hard to reproduce in plastic.
First wash the parts to remove the print resin residue, separate them carefully from the print supports and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). When sanding resin, protect your airways, and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
