A resin detail set of replacement propellers for a model of the four-engine piston Douglas C-118 Liftmaster transport aircraft (the military version of the DC-6) in 1:72 scale. This is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory that replaces the parts from the original kit and lifts the fidelity of the engine section.
The C-118 Liftmaster served from the turn of the 1940s and 1950s as a military transport and comes from the proven civil DC-6 line. Precisely cast propeller blades with sharp leading edges and a faithful profile markedly improve the look of a finished model compared with the production parts. The set is intended for models of this type in 1:72 scale.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean the surfaces up. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding and apply a primer before painting.
The set is an accessory, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
