Responsibility details are not available.
A mounted set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale with figures of Dutch-Belgian light cavalry from the campaign of 1815. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled, with the rider seated separately. The manufacturer does not state the number of pieces, so check it on the packaging.
The Dutch-Belgian cavalry belonged to Wellington's army at Waterloo and its units were only being put together, because the kingdom had come into being shortly before. Many of the riders had training and experience from French service and the equipment was therefore a mixture of French and British elements. The light cavalry performed the usual tasks: reconnaissance, screening the flanks, pursuit. At the battle of Waterloo it took part in the counterattacks on the French infantry, and its share tends to be overlooked in accounts in favor of the British regiments.
Paint the horses before you seat the riders. Build the blue coat up in layers over a gray base so that it does not stay muddy, and leave the colored facings for last. Do not mix the horses into a single color; various shades of brown and chestnut will enliven the group. Unify the bases with a single tone; that bonds the mounted group into one whole.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
