Wooden crates, 1:72 is a resin set of wooden shipping crates for dioramas in a small scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from Firma49 brings miniature wooden shipping crates in the small 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a diorama accessory for bringing supply scenes, depots and vehicle beds to life.
Wooden crates were used to carry ammunition, food and spare parts, and they belong among the universal elements of military and civilian scenes alike. Even in a small scale, stacked piles of them give a diorama life and a sense of scale.
Separate the very small castings carefully from the casting blocks and wash them; tweezers and a magnifier help. A brown base, an oil wash and a dry brush give the wood a realistic look.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, glue and other parts are not included in the package.
