A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains thirty-two figures in eight poses. These are crew only; the gun is sold separately, so you will add the figures to one of the Austro-Hungarian guns of the same range. The figures are unpainted and are supplied molded in one piece.
The Austro-Hungarian artillery of the First World War rested on weapons of domestic production, above all on howitzers and mountain guns, which proved their worth in the broken ground of the Italian and Galician fronts. The crew had to cope with moving the weapon along mountain tracks, where the gun was taken apart into loads carried by pack animals. That is exactly why the Austro-Hungarian mountain batteries were among the best trained elements of the army.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The Austro-Hungarian field color runs between a gray-blue and pike gray and in the later years moves toward khaki, so you can place the set in various phases of the war by the choice of shade alone. Arrange the figures around the gun according to the real drill of a crew. Ammunition boxes and cartridge cases on the ground will close the scene off.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
