Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted figures of an Italian artillery crew from the First World War in 1:72 scale. The set contains the crew, not the guns, so it suits rounding out pieces already built or guns from other sets. The figures are in soft plastic, on which ordinary cement for polystyrene will not hold and neither will paint without preparation. That is not a fault but a property of the material.
Artillery carried exceptional weight on the Italian front, because in mountainous terrain every position was first shot to pieces and only then attacked. Getting the guns up the slopes was a nightmare, though: the heavy pieces were hauled up with ropes, in sections and often over whole weeks. That made every position that was successfully established all the more valuable, and the fighting over it all the more desperate.
Wash the figures first in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the gray-green Italian uniform is dry, go over it with a dark wash and pick the edges out with a dry brush, otherwise it looks flat.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
