HäT 8160 Romanian artillery crew is a 1:72 set with thirty-two figures for crewing guns of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale with thirty-two figures of a Romanian artillery crew of the Second World War. The guns themselves are not included in the package; the set is built as a complement to artillery models, which usually lack precisely the people around them. It is supplied unpainted.
The Romanian army entered the war on the German side and its artillery was made up of weapons of the most varied origin, from French and Czech pieces to German deliveries and captured Soviet guns. The soldiers wore a field uniform in a khaki shade and a characteristic helmet of the Dutch pattern, which sets the Romanian army apart visually from both its allies and its opponents. In 1944 Romania changed sides and its artillery then fought against its former allies.
Crews look best arranged around a gun in natural roles: a loader, a layer, an ammunition passer and a commander with binoculars. Unify them with a single uniform shade and leave the differences to the equipment. The helmet has a distinctive shape, so darken it and brighten only the edge, so that the silhouette stands out. Unify the bases with a single tone; that bonds the group into one whole.
The figures are supplied unpainted. Guns, paints, glue and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
