About product

Revell Aqua Color 12 Yellow, gloss

This is a water-thinnable acrylic paint, not a solvent-based enamel or lacquer. The shade is a gloss yellow (RAL 1018). The paint is almost odorless, nonflammable and adheres to plastic, metal and wood.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush and with an airbrush.
  • It is thinned with water or with Revell Aqua Color Mix, not with lacquer or enamel thinner.
  • Yellow tends to cover less well, so apply it in several thin coats, ideally over a white or light base.
  • Tools and spills are cleaned with water as long as the paint has not dried.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a rich gloss yellow for markings, accessories and whole areas without using solvents.

A water-thinnable acrylic, nonflammable and almost odorless. Work in a ventilated room and keep out of the reach of children.

FAQ

Water or Aqua Color Mix. It is neither an enamel nor a lacquer.

Yellow shades generally have weaker covering power; a light or white base and several thin coats help.
