About product

Revell Aqua Color 2 Clear, matte

What it is: a water-thinnable acrylic clear varnish with a matte surface. What it is not: it is not a paint with covering power. It is used as a protective and unifying top coat that takes the shine down and protects the surface underneath along with the decals. It does not tint the surface it is applied over.

Use

  • It is applied as a final coat over dried paint and decals.
  • It is thinned with water or with Revell Aqua Color Mix.
  • It is applied with a brush or an airbrush in thin coats.
  • It does not serve to paint a surface; it only adjusts the sheen and protects.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to even out a matte surface on a model and protect the decals without using solvent-based varnishes.

A water-thinnable acrylic, non-flammable and almost odorless. Work in a ventilated room and keep out of the reach of children.
