Master Tools 20 cm brass tubes - set 8

A set of straight brass tubes 200 mm long from Master Tools. The tubes serve as material for detailing models and building your own parts: they replace gun barrels and tubular features, cable and hydraulic lines, exhausts, masts, handrails and structural elements of dioramas. Brass cuts, bends and solders well and looks sturdier than plastic. This is raw material, not a finished part.

Use

  • Measure and cut the length you need with a metal saw or a tube cutter.
  • Clean up the ends and chamfer them if necessary, so that the bore stays open.
  • The tubes can be joined with cyanoacrylate glue or by soldering.
  • The different diameters make it possible to slide a thinner tube into a thicker one and create telescopic joints.

Who it is for

For modelers who detail military vehicles, aircraft and ships or build dioramas and want metal tubular features. Set 8 belongs to a series of numbered sets that differ in the range of diameters; the higher numbers usually cover thicker tubes.

Mind the sharp edges after cutting. Protect your airways and eyes when sanding brass.
