USS Alabama was an American battleship of the South Dakota class, one of the fast battleships the US Navy committed to action in the Second World War. She served in the Atlantic as well as the Pacific and was among the units whose main role in the later part of the war also included anti-aircraft cover for formations. The ship has survived as a museum exhibit, which is an advantage for a modeler, because rich photographic documentation of her real state exists. A booklet of drawings adds to such photographs the guide to dimensions that cannot be read off a photo.
This is a printed publication with drawings, not a kit and not a modeling accessory.
