Responsibility details are not available.
This HäT figure set in the 28 mm wargaming size contains forty-eight figures in eight poses. The figures are in hard plastic, molded in one piece, and the pack with its rolled blanket is fitted separately. Thanks to the hard plastic they can be joined with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene and they hold paint well.
The French light infantry regiments were divided into three kinds of company. The chasseurs formed the center of the array, the voltigeurs were the dispersed screen and the carabiniers were the elite company, the counterpart of the grenadiers in the line infantry. The carabiniers were marked out by a taller headdress with a red plume and by red epaulettes, which set them apart from the rest of the battalion at first glance. They were committed where the decision had to be made and usually stood on the right wing.
Wash the figures and let them dry, then glue them onto bases before painting so that they are easier to handle. Lay down a dark base first, then the blue coat and the white trousers; leave the red trim for last, because red needs more layers. In a larger size it pays to pick out the face and the straps, because 28 mm will carry that much detail.
The figures are supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
