39/40M. Csaba armoured cars in World War 2 is a Kagero monograph on the Hungarian armored reconnaissance cars, with archive photographs, drawings and color profiles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a specialist monograph from the Kagero publishing house, not a kit. The book from the combat series charts the Hungarian armored reconnaissance cars of the Csaba type (39M and 40M) from their origin through production and the organization of the units up to their service. The text is accompanied by rich archive photographic material, scale drawings, color profiles of camouflage schemes and an enclosed poster, so it also serves as background for modelers.
The Csaba was a Hungarian light armored reconnaissance car of the Second World War based on a design by Nicholas Straussler. The vehicle had a fully rotating armored turret, a hull riveted from armor plate and two driving positions, so it could reverse as well as it could drive forward. It was put into service with the Hungarian army in the early years of the war.
For modelers of armored vehicles interested in the Hungarian army and for readers drawn to less familiar chapters of the history of the Second World War.
