The Topdrawings range builds a whole volume on modeling drawings of a single aircraft type. This one carries the number 60 in the sequence and is devoted to the Polish bomber PZL.37 Los in the A and B versions. The drawings serve to compare shapes with a kit, to correct outlines and to lay out markings, that is work that a kit's instructions usually do not allow. In this a drawing is more patient than a photograph: it shows the outline even where a picture distorts it by perspective.
The PZL.37 Los was a Polish twin-engined bomber of the second half of the 1930s, exceptionally clean in design for its day. It had a stressed-skin structure, retractable landing gear and two radial engines, and yet it carried a bomb load comparable with far larger machines. The A and B versions differ among other things in the form of the tail surfaces, which is an important difference for building: it shows which of the variants a model represents.
