A Vallejo primer in an ivory shade under the manufacturer's part number 74.643. It unifies a model's surface and gives a warm light ground under light colors.
Responsibility details are not available.
A primer is the first coat a model receives. It unifies a surface made up of different materials, gives the opaque paint something to hold on to and at the same time gives away what is underneath: scratches, unsanded joints and glue residue stand out precisely after priming, that is, still before a color coat covers them. Without a primer the paint rubs off a smooth surface every time the model is picked up.
Ivory is a warm whiteness turned toward yellow. As a ground it suits everywhere a light and at the same time poorly covering color is to come on top: white, yellow, beige and red all need a light ground, or they have to be applied in several coats and the relief beneath them loses its sharpness. A warm tone, moreover, unlike a cold white, does not take saturation away from the resulting color.
A container of primer as described is supplied. A model, paints, thinner and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and store the container carefully closed and out of the reach of children.
