Revell synthetic modeling paint number 752, clear blue. A 14 ml bottle for applying with a brush and with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Number 752 in this range is clear blue, that is, a paint that does not hide the base but tints it. It is used where the gloss or the texture under the coat is meant to stay visible: on the covers of position lights and beacons, on the clear glass of instruments, for tinting transparent parts or for the blue sheen of exhausts and metal surfaces. On a silver base it creates the impression of colored glass, on a white one a light blue veil.
It can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush. It is thinned with the thinner of the same range, which is intended for synthetic paints; the paint does not damage the surface of plastic models. A further coat or another paint can be applied after roughly four to six hours, and full drying takes about a day. With clear shades the rule is that the depth is governed by the number of coats, not by the thickness of one.
The base under a clear paint has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise the coat will go gray. Paint light covers last of all and let them cure properly; fingerprints press into a soft layer and the transparency is then gone for good. Mix the bottle well before use, as the pigment settles. Clean the brush and the airbrush with thinner for synthetic paints, not with water. Wipe the paint residue off the neck, otherwise the cap will dry onto the bottle in time.
The package contains one bottle of paint with a volume of 14 ml. Thinner, a brush, varnishes and a model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
