This is a cleaner from the group of thinners and cleaning products for painting. Its job is to get paint out of the places where it is left over after work and where it gets in the way, that is above all out of the tools used for painting. Paint residue is an inconspicuous but damaging problem: dried paint in a nozzle or at the ferrule of a brush ruins a tool faster than ordinary wear does. Cleaning is therefore not an extra tidy-up but the last step of every painting session.
A volume of 500 ml is a stock size, not a sample. A cleaner is a consumable that is used after every painting session if the work is done properly, and with a small bottle you sooner or later end up in a situation where cleaning gets postponed because there is too little cleaner. A stock bottle removes that excuse. It pays to decant from it into a smaller container, which is more comfortable to work with at the bench, and to keep the main bottle closed.
Clean the tools straight after finishing work, while the paint is fresh. Dried residue comes off considerably less easily and quite often will not come off at all. Work in a ventilated area, keep the container closed and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the label, which state what the product is intended for and what it is not. Before you use it on a painted or plastic surface, try it on a hidden spot.
The cleaner alone is supplied, in a 500 ml bottle. Paints, tools and protective equipment are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
