AFV Fantasy Ultramarine Blue

Vallejo AFV Fantasy Ultramarine Blue, aerosol spray

A paint in an aerosol can from the spray line of the Vallejo brand. It is a spray ready for immediate use, not a bottle for an airbrush and not a brush paint. Ultramarine Blue is a deep, markedly blue shade that Vallejo also carries under the same name in its bottled lines. The Fantasy part of the spray line is aimed more at figures, gaming models and bold color schemes than at period-accurate camouflage finishes. The volume of the package is given on the can.

Use

• Shake the contents thoroughly for at least a minute before applying
• Apply several thin coats from a distance of roughly twenty to thirty centimeters
• A deep blue comes out better over a light base than straight on dark plastic
• Suitable as a base tone for gaming figures, vehicles and accessories with bold coloring
• Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally outdoors or in an extracted booth
• After use, clear the nozzle with a short burst with the can upside down

Who it is for

Modelers of gaming and fantasy models who need to even out the color quickly on a larger number of figures or parts will appreciate it. It also serves well as a base under later lighter transitions and highlights finished with a brush. For small details and fine modeling of the shade a brush or an airbrush remains more suitable.

The aerosol can is under pressure and the contents are flammable. Do not spray into an open flame or onto hot surfaces, do not expose it to temperatures above fifty degrees and do not pierce or burn the can. Make sure there is ventilation, protect your eyes and skin and keep it out of the reach of children.
