Tamiya AS-20 Insignia White (U.S.Navy) - lacquer spray 100 ml

A spray of synthetic acrylic lacquer from the AS range of the manufacturer Tamiya, developed specially for painting aircraft models. The shade AS-20 matches the Insignia White color used by the US Navy. The lacquer dries quickly and creates an even, smooth coat. The package holds 100 ml of paint. It is not a kit but a modeling paint (a lacquer in a spray can) for finishing the surface.

Use

• Painting aircraft models in the Insignia White shade (U.S. Navy)
• It is applied straight from the can in thin coats from a distance, ideally over a primer
• According to the manufacturer, one can covers roughly 2-3 aircraft models in 1:48 scale or one model in 1:32
• It can also be applied over a cured coat of another spray; the paint is not affected by acrylic or enamel paints applied over the dried lacquer

Who it is for

For modelers who paint US Navy aircraft models and want a quick, even coat without an airbrush. We recommend spraying in several thin coats and letting the paint set between them; degrease the surfaces and seal them with a primer before painting.

The spray is flammable and under pressure. Use it in a well ventilated space or outdoors, do not inhale the fumes and use a respirator. Keep it away from fire, heat and direct sunlight, and do not pierce or burn the can. Keep out of the reach of children.
