Vallejo Model Color BC Dark Brown is a matte acrylic modeling paint for brush application — a dark brown in an 18 ml dropper bottle. This is a paint, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling acrylic paint from the Model Color line by the Spanish brand Vallejo. Not a kit, but a paint. Model Color is a water-thinnable acrylic with a high pigment concentration, developed chiefly for brush application: it dries quickly and forms a matte, well-covering, self-leveling film that does not fill in fine detail. It is supplied in an 18 ml dropper bottle, which keeps the paint from drying out in the container and allows drop-by-drop dosing. The new Model Color palette is organized into a base–shade–highlight system; in it, this shade plays the role of the base tone of dark brown, with a matching shadow and highlight available to look up.
Model Color is a thicker paint made primarily for brush use. For an airbrush it must be thinned (with water or Vallejo acrylic thinner, ideally with a drop of flow improver) — undiluted Model Color reliably clogs the nozzle. If you want to spray straight from the bottle without mixing, reach for the Model Air line, which comes ready for the airbrush. Shake the paint thoroughly before each use, since the pigment settles to the bottom.
For modelers of figures, military equipment and dioramas who paint with a brush and need a versatile dark brown for a base, shading and weathering. It works well together with glazes, washes, oils and pigments.
A water-based acrylic paint. Store at room temperature out of the reach of children, and close the bottle carefully after use. Work in a well-ventilated area when spraying and protect your airways.
