This is a modeling paint, not a kit and not a set of parts. Beige belongs to the Vallejo Model Color line, flat, heavily pigmented water based acrylics that the manufacturer developed above all for brush application. The paint is therefore thicker and opaque; for the airbrush you have to thin it first (with water or with a thinner for acrylics). It comes in a 17 ml bottle with a dropper, which lets you dose the paint drop by drop and mix shades exactly.
Beige is a clean and rather warm beige, light but full and not dirtied down. That is exactly what sets it apart from the Buff shade it is most often confused with: Beige is cleaner and warmer, while Buff is grayer and dirtier beside it. Buff therefore suits dust and dusting, whereas Beige is the color of the material itself, of canvas, wood, equipment or an interior wall.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Light shades generally cover less well than dark ones, so apply two to three thin coats instead of one heavy one, and you will keep the engraving and the fine detail. On plastic the paint takes better over a primer.
For modelers of figures, vehicles and aircraft who need a dependable light beige, whether for an interior, for equipment or for desert camouflage. Suitable for beginners and advanced builders alike, because it brushes out well and handles an airbrush once thinned.
The paint is water-thinnable, yet airbrushing it produces an aerosol, so work in a well ventilated space or at an extraction booth and protect your airways with a respirator. Keep out of the reach of children. Close the bottle carefully after use.
