A decal set with a perfectly straight black stripe 0.5 mm wide and 2820 mm long in all. It serves to create thin lines of the same width along their whole length. Typically these are waterlines and dividing bands on ship hulls, but you will use them on any model where you need an accurate straight line without masking and spraying.

Properties

The width of 0.5 mm is a universal middle value suitable for a wide range of ship scales as well as for ordinary dividing lines. The stripe is flexible and can be led over slightly curved surfaces too.

Use

• Clean the surface and coat it with gloss varnish for reliable adhesion.
• Cut off the length you need, dip it in lukewarm water and slide it into place.
• Straighten the line and blot the excess water away, then let it dry.
• Fix it with matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the surface of the model.
