A water-based acrylic paint from the Model Color range, that is from the range Vallejo formulates above all for brush application. It is densely pigmented and covers well, and once dry it gives an even flat finish with no pronounced brush strokes. It comes in a dropper bottle with a volume of 17 ml, which saves paint and lets you measure out individual drops when mixing. It is thinned with water (or with the manufacturer's thinner) - not with alcohol, nitro or synthetic thinner. Note: this is a modeling paint, not a kit or a model.
Blue is a saturated, universal blue which the manufacturer does not tie to any standardized shade. The maker also has a similarly named Flat Blue, but that one corresponds to the FS 35180 standard. The difference between them is not in the gloss - the whole Model Color range dries flat, so the word Flat in the name does not mean a different degree of gloss from this paint. They differ in shade and purpose: Blue is a pure basic blue for free use and for mixing, while Flat Blue aims at a specific standardized aircraft shade.
For modelers and figure painters who work mainly with a brush and want a saturated, well-covering blue without the odor of solvents. Suitable for beginners as well - mistakes can be wiped off with water while fresh.
