This is a set of fine 3D printed bolts completed with a nut and a washer (type 1), in several graduated diameters from 0.5 to 1.1 mm. The manufacturer is Decalcas. It is not a kit but an accessory for advanced superdetailing with which you replace simplified or missing fasteners with a faithful miniature bolted joint.
A complete bolted joint (bolt, nut and washer) is one of the details that give a model real authenticity. It comes into its own on engines, frames, chassis and hardware where the joints are visible. Thanks to the graduated sizes you can choose the right dimension according to the scale and the placement.
Separate the small parts with a sharp scalpel over a cutting mat and glue them with a spot of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Working with tweezers in good lighting is recommended; the elements can be painted before gluing or in place.
The dimensions in millimeters state the size of the part; they are not the scale of a model. The set is supplied unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
