Candy Brown

Vallejo Premium Color Candy Brown, a 60 ml airbrush paint

This is a transparent candy shade from the Vallejo Premium Color line, a water-thinnable acrylic paint based on a tough hybrid acrylic-polyurethane resin, bottled in 60 ml. Candy Brown gives a warm brown candy cast. Candy paints do not cover on their own; they come out in full only over a gloss metallic or pearl base, whose reflection then shines through the color film.

Use

• Apply it with an airbrush; the paint is pre-thinned to the ideal consistency and with a 0.3 mm nozzle it can be sprayed straight from the bottle.
• The recommended compressor pressure is roughly 2 to 4 bar; if needed, the paint can be thinned with water or with airbrush thinner.
• It grips plastic, metal, fiberglass, polycarbonate (Lexan) and other smooth materials with good adhesion.
• The film it forms resists impact, abrasion and heat and stands up to fuel residue, which is why it also suits RC bodies.

Who it is for

For modelers and airbrush enthusiasts who appreciate a pre-thinned paint ready to spray, and for builders of RC bodies and custom projects. Suitable for plastic models and other smooth surfaces.

The paint is water-thinnable and non-toxic. While spraying, work in a well-ventilated room and protect your airways from the aerosol. Do not use lacquer (nitro) thinner, as the paint is acrylic.
